Citing high demand yet again, TVXQ adds two more performances to its Japanese tour

TVXQ had added two more performance dates to its ongoing Japan tour, its agency announced on Feb. 9, roughly a month after four performances were added to the originally scheduled shows. The K-pop duo will perform a total of 26 times across Japan.

"Due to high demand, we have added additional performances at the Tokyo Dome and Osaka's Kyocera Dome", SM Entertainment said in a press release.

The tour, "TVXQ Live Tour 2012: Tone", kicked off on Jan. 18 and will eventually entertain more than 550,000 Japanese fans throughout Japan since two additional shows have been added. Originally, 450,000 were sold for the various concerts that will take place in 11 cities, including Nagoya, Fukuoka, Nigata, Sapporo, Hiroshima, Fukui and Osaka.

While on tour, TVXQ will also release a single in Japan, called "Still", on March 14. The duo is trying to capitalize on its extreme popularity among Japanese K-pop fans. Last year, it came in first place on a list of the 50 most-searched celebrities provided by MSN Japan.

Before the start of the tour, TVXQ also performed in the New Year's Eve concert Kohaku Uta Gassen. Its appearance was broadcast on television and attracted 42.6 of viewers in the timeslot in which it aired.
